(sorry for the bad quality photo!)
Hey guys, today I'm going to be doing a short review on the MudyMasky which is a pore refining, hydrating, anti-aging, brightening and smoothing face mask. This mask is cruelty free (yay!), paraben free, uses all natural ingredients and costs $73.14 ( £60) for a 60ml tube which i know is quite pricey but the tube in the photo is only a 20ml tube so that wouldn't be as pricey!
What it claims to do: The mask claims to refine your pores, leave your skin feeling hydrated, be anti-aging, brightening and smooth your skin all at the same time. π².... Sounds good right?
What are the natural ingredients?: The ingredients the mask contains are purified dead-sea aqua, montmorillonite, gray wyoming clay, moroccan lava clay, polysorbate 20, camellia sinensis leaf, betaine, maris sal, phenoxyethanol, bambusa arundinacea, xanthan gum, allantoin, citric acid, hypoallergenic parfum, ethylhexylglycerin, caprylyl glycol, tocopheryl acetate, phenethyl alcohol, cucumis sativus, malva sylvestris, arnica montana flower, sambucus nigra, hedera helix and FINALLY parietaria officinalis.... Phew!, yeah i don't know what half them mean either but they are all natural, all safe on all skin types and generally good stuff with weird, long names.π
How to apply?: Apply a thin layer to your face with either a brush or your clean fingers, you will experience a slight tingly feeling, but that's normal. If you have dry skin, leave the mask on for seven minutes then remove it with cool water but if you have normal to combination skin leave the mask on for nine minutes then remove the same way as before and if you have oily skin leave the mask on for about 12 minutes then remove. I apply the mask two times a week at night and that's generally how many times a week you apply a mask but i guess you can do it however many times a week you want.
Does it work/is it worth the money?: In the couple months that i have been using this mask i genuinely think its made a massive difference to my skin overall, it feels so much smoother and looks more hydrated than before i started using the mask. It doesn't cause me to breakout or anything like that and yes i do think its worth the money if you use the right amount and don't use too much product at once otherwise it could run out quickly. It also has a pleasant smell which is nice. So my overall opinion is yes, it is definitely worth the money if you're someone who is passionate about skincare and trying out new products but if you're on a budget and don't want to spend a lot on a face mask there are much cheaper ones out there that do just the same thing.
So guys i hope you all enjoyed this thursday's blog! and if you did don't forget to like and follow me if you haven't already, it would mean a lot to me.
